The migration case study will examine the range of social issues faced by migrant communities and community led responses in addressing challenges and advancing social inclusion. It is focusing on case studies of five culturally and religiously diverse migrant groups in Hobart and Melbourne. Up to 40 interviews are being conducted with Chinese, Indian, Russian, African, and Afghan community leaders, including religious, women and youth leaders, from each of these communities. The project team is also interviewing key state and community stakeholders involved in the provision of migration and multicultural services.
